Circa £45,000 DOE
We currently have an exciting internal opportunity for an existing Registered Manager, with experience in housing with care or independent living, to work across two housing with care schemes, St Augustines Place (35 beds) and The Lawns (30 beds). This will be a permanent contract and the postholder will be CQC registered across both schemes.
Main responsibilities will include:
As the Registered Manager responsible for two care settings, you will work closely with the senior Care team to develop mechanisms to safely oversee your portfolio of services and maintain a warm, caring environment that makes our tenants feel at home, whilst promoting maximum independence alongside:
- Working closely with and line managing the Deputy Managers to ensure safe and good quality care and a positive culture which upholds our values.
- Developing strong and positive relationships with Registered Social Landlords to ensure effective building safety and compliance and a referral pipeline to deliver occupancy targets.
- Ensuring each tenant is provided with a person-centred care plan that is effectively implemented and regularly updated as care needs change/develop.
- Identifying and managing risk and improvement actions and ensuring these are recorded, reported and escalated accordingly.
- Ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained within the establishment, including recruiting and appointing new starters liaising with the recruitment and HR teams.
- Complying with the Health and Social Care Act 2008, CQC legislation and Norse Care policies and procedures.
- Developing opportunities for improving the standard of care by encouraging engagement from relatives, friends and local community, proactively using feedback to enhance services and complying with the complaints and compliments process.
About You
We’re seeking an exceptional leader who will thrive in a collaborative role and share our passion for delivering excellence in care. Alongside this, you will be able to demonstrate:
* A proven track record as a successful CQC Registered Manager in residential care, achieving “good” or “outstanding” results for CQC inspections.
* In-depth knowledge of dementia care and related best practice with Level 5 Diploma and Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care or Registered Managers Award or equivalent.
* Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and a collaborative approach.
- Fantastic communication skills, with an excellent ability to build strong, professional working relationships across the Group.
- Previous experience in successfully recruiting and selecting employees, supported by Teams at Head Office.
* Experience in achieving compliance and high-quality outcomes in care settings.
* Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive culture for residents and staff.
