Norse Group was founded by Norfolk County Council in 1988. Through thirty years of organic growth, entrepreneurial spirit, and the creation of numerous Joint Venture Partnerships across the country, we are the UK’s largest Local Authority Trading Company (LATCo).
We operate a range of services across four core business units - Care, Commercial, Consulting and Specialist – available nationwide, wherever, and whenever our partners require them.

As a LATCo, we are woven into local communities; therefore the work we and our teams do is not just about business. We want to build value within communities in a way that makes them thrive.
Our hard work has resulted in a range of incredible efforts:
· £30,000 awarded via our Community Fund
· £97,000 raised for Norse Care’s Tenant Amenity Fund
· Over 72,000 hours of volunteering time gifted to employees
· Supporting over 24,000 people via 22 food hubs in collaboration with Norfolk Community Foundation.
· Achieving the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme’s Silver Award Certificate for our commitment to employing reservists, armed forces veterans, cadet instructors and military partners.
