Job description
Norse Group's Support Services Division has an excellent opportunity within our HR Department for a HR-Co-ordinator to join our HR team at our Head office in Norwich.
This position is being offered on a full-time permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday; however, other working patterns and hours would be considered. This is the ideal opportunity for someone who is at the beginning of their HR career and looking to develop their skills further.
The role
As part of the HR team, you will be the first contact for both managers and employees with HR related queries, ensuring a confidential and efficient service is always provided. You will support the wider HR Team with HR related projects such as TUPE’s as well as supporting with advice on probation periods and flexible working requests and supporting with minute taking for the Employee Relations Team.
You will also be responsible for;
* Supporting the wider business with all Maternity and Paternity related queries and administration
* Communicating effectively with managers and employees, maintaining a positive and professional approach
* Coordinating Data Subject Access Requests and ensuring compliance with Data Protection regulations
* Providing administration support with business change and employee relations activity such as case work and TUPE
* Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Our Successful Candidate
You will ideally have previous experience within an office environment whilst also demonstrating:
* Knowledge of HR processes and best practice
* Ability to engage and communicate with people at all levels across the business
- Capability of working to your own initiative in a deadline driven environment
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and other HR related systems
* Either working towards or willing to work towards the CIPD qualification
