Senior Treasury Controller

£26,994 - £28,119 dependant on experience

Our Group Support Services form an integral part of the business, providing expert guidance across a multitude of disciplines including a fully established finance team.

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Treasury Controller at our head office in Norwich. This position is being offered on a full time, permanent contract working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

As the Senior Treasury Controller, you will be responsible for leading all Treasury functions, providing a full service to internal & external stakeholders such that all bank accounts and cash ledgers are managed and processed efficiently and on time, in accordance with company policies and in compliance with legislations. Duties will include:

  • Leading and organising the Treasury team, so that transactional processes and deadlines are met. This includes daily and accurate processing of all income & expenditure, arranging Direct Debit collections, adhoc payments and bank transfers, dealing with all treasury related queries and monthly reconciliation of assigned bank accounts
  • Conducting daily Cashflow analysis and forecasting, ensuring minimum cash levels maintained and optimum investment, and any necessary reports to the HoF and CFO
  • Maintaining essential data files & referencing documents for the team and ensuring these are kept up to date.
  • Acting as an essential point of contact for wider Norse colleagues, ensuring the more complex queries/disputes are resolved promptly.
  • Administrator for Corporate Credit Card portal, including management of balances, statements, limits and issuing of new cards in line with company policy.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for our banking Relationship Manager, ensuring queries resolved promptly or escalated where necessary.
  • Conducting regular 1-2-1’s with the Treasury team to ensure development and motivation is maintained at the highest level.

Our Successful Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar or related finance role
  • Ability to work to your own initiative in a deadline driven environment
  • Excellent documentation skills, capable of providing accurate data and reports
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all areas of the business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook
