Mobile Cleaner – Newport 

Newport, Wales

£13.26 Per hour

30 Hours per week

 

Newport Norse represents the highly successful joint venture between Norse Group and Newport City Council, providing contract cleaning services across the local area.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Cleaner for Newport. It will be your responsibility to ensure the site is kept clean secure and maintained; undertaking several cleaning duties as required.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Report any defects or issues to the Area Supervisor
  • Ensure all health and safety is followed
  • Provide excellent customer service

This position is being offered on a part time, permanent contract working various morning shifts.

We will provide full training if you have not worked within the industry before, but ideally we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working in a cleaning, janitorial position
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations that are relevant to the post, including using relevant machinery and products
  • Ability to work autonomously, managing your own workload
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with members of the public and the client
