Grounds Supervisor (Internal)

Medway

£32,457.88

37 Hours per week

 

At Medway Norse we are recruiting for a Grounds Supervisor to support a growing number of sites across the surrounding area on a permanent, full-time basis.

 

In this role you will be leading several teams that deliver grounds maintenance services for our local authority partner, and you will primarily be responsible for ensuring the services delivered meet the agreed expectation.

 

Other Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning coordinating and implementing a range of grounds maintenance work including burial services
  • Ensuring that all work completed is to a high standard,
  • Carrying out audits and inspections
  • Supporting with the operational delivery of the service when required
  • Providing training and guidance to the team to ensure growth and development
  • Leading on HR tasks

Our Successful Candidate:

You will have experience working within Grounds Maintenance, ideally with previous supervisory or management experience alongside:

  • Qualification in Turfculture, Horticulture or a similar discipline
  • COTS Institution of Cemetery and Crematorium Management (ICCM) or willing to undergo training
  • Strong knowledge of all relevant Health & Safety / COSHH regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to deliver a high level of customer service
  • Full UK Driving Licence to meet the travel requirements of the role
