Yard Operative

£11.44 Per Hour 

15 Hours per week

Amber Valley Norse, a joint venture partnership between Norse Group and Amber Valley Borough Council. The joint venture company will be providing a domestic and trade refuse collections across Derbyshire.

We currently have a vacant position for a Yard Operative to join the team in Alfreton, on a permanent basis working 15 hours per week.

The role

Undertaking basic yard duties including cleansing and site management.

Duties will also include repairing and washing refuse containers for reissue and dismantling end of life containers for recycling in addition to valeting the refuse collection fleet to ensure it is presented to a high standard.

The post holder may also assist refuse crews with general duties in accordance with the service needs.
