£35,338.88 per annum

We are recruiting for an experienced care professional to join the team as a Training Specialist. This is a full-time, fixed term contact for 12 months.
Main Responsibilities:
* Providing high quality training solutions, through the effective delivery of learning for both accredited and bespoke courses.
* Acting as a champion for Care best practice, ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures including health and safety and employment.
* Working as a trusted advisor, providing information, advice and guidance to develop effective training solutions to support business needs.
* Supporting the assessment of learners (through both classroom sessions and observed practice) to ensure quality outcomes to enhance staff skills and behaviours in the workplace.
* Supporting new employees through the Care Certificate in line with Skills for Care requirements.
* Working with the Learning & Development Designer to develop and maintain training material to the highest standards, and where relevant meeting all awarding body requirements.
* Working with the Quality & Compliance Training Manager, reviewing and evaluating effectiveness of training delivered within the course catalogue and modify materials and approach as required.
* Leading on relevant projects, liaising with SME’s. Supporting in the design and development, creating effective solutions for delivery on time and within budget.
Our Successful Candidate:
You will have previous experience of delivering training alongside:
* Previous experience working with adults in the care sector
* Translating training needs/gaps into meaningful objectives
* Experience in designing and delivering engaging training content
* City and Guilds Level 3 or 4 Teaching and Learning or equivalent or willing to work towards
* Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (or equivalent)
* Good attention to detail in the design and development of courses
* Confidence and ability to rapidly build rapport and strong relationships with all stakeholders, including excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Engaging presentation style, verbal and written communication skills, capable of diversifying your approach to meet the needs of your audience
* Effectively observe others and provide well-constructed feedback for improvement
* Full UK Driving Licence to meet the travel requirements of the role
