Property Maintenance Operative – Alliance Norse

Alliance Norse is a joint venture with High Peak Borough Council and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council. We provide repairs and maintenance across the Councils’ properties, caretaking and cleaning services as well as offering an improved housing repairs service. We have an excellent opportunity for a Property Maintenance Operative to assist our maintenance teams delivering refurbishments within the High Peaks area. This role is on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role:

As our Property Maintenance Operative, you will be required to undertake various general maintenance duties on across predominantly Councils housing stock but may include non-housing, commercial and other properties as and when required. Duties will include waste removal to refuge depot, tree/bush trimming/removal, heavy lifting, working at heights, basic general building work, fence repairs, cleaning and PAT testing (training provided).

It is essential that your complete work as effectively as possible and to the defined standards, including the collection and return where required of materials to stores. Where appropriate, you will assist other fully skilled tradespersons in all the necessary preparation work in providing this service.
