Project Assistant 

Alliance Norse have an exciting internal opportunity for an Apprentice Project Manager to join our team based in Buxton on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your role will be to assist our Project Managers in the delivery of a diverse range of projects across their core disciplines; co-ordinating teams and resources to ensure delivery against the brief and profitability for the group.

You will build a number of successful relationships with internal and external colleagues, assisting the project manager to ensure client requirements are met by monitoring and reviewing detailed project budgets ensuring clients are informed regularly of changes and the related impacts.

You will be expected to utilise all systems and resources available to ensure project is on schedule, and take corrective action as required.

Our Successful Candidate

Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar or related role, supported by:

  • 5 GCSE’s, Grade A* - C / 4 or Higher, including Maths & English
  • Prince 2 or APM professional membership (student or associate) (desirable)
  • Hold a current side card or be prepared to immediately attain
  • Knowledge of relevant health & safety legislation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
