We have a fantastic opportunity for Catering Assistants to join our team on a casual basis working as and when required  to support education catering around Norfolk. You will be supporting teams in schools who cook up to 400 meals daily.

The benefits of eating quality, home-cooked meals are huge and as a Catering Assistant you would play a key part in the delivery of these meals, including;

• Preparing fruit, vegetables and salads for meal services, as well as any other cooking responsibilities directed by the Cook Manager.
• Maintaining the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness across the kitchen and service areas.
• Setting up of services areas and tidying away when service is complete.
• Providing a helpful and enjoyable mealtime service for all residents delivery an excellent customer service experience.

What we are looking for from you:

Although previous catering experience would be an advantage, our extensive induction and excellent training programmes means that if you enjoy cooking and have a passion for good food, we can help you learn to adapt to a commercial catering environment!

A Full UK Drivers Licence is required for this role. Mileage and travel time are paid.
