Chartered Surveyor

Norwich

£56,000 (Dependent on experience) 

37 Hours per week, No weekends

 

Norse Consulting are a national property consultancy delivering services to a range of public and private sector clients, designing bespoke packages to meet their individual needs.

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Surveyor to join our team based in Norwich to assist with the delivery of the Estate Management and Valuation Services.

 

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Working within the various agreed timescales, managing projects in accordance with initiatives and directives, endeavouring to maximise income and achieve set productivity targets.
  • Undertaking all aspects of general practice work (including RICS ‘Red Book’ valuations and asset valuations, negotiating terms for the acquisition and disposal of property, preparing committee reports and briefings for clients, attending committees and working groups, landlord and tenant matters) all in accordance with professional guidance and standards as appropriate.
  • Providing proactive and responsive strategic advice to clients on all property matters.

Skills/Experience:

Our successful candidate will have extensive previous experience within a similar role and industry, supported by:

  • Professional Chartered membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an Estates discipline
  • Familiar with relevant construction, health and safety legislation and risks and hazards associated with asbestos
  • Full UK Driving Licence to meet the travel requirements of the role
